things I love: books, embellished

Tim (especially) and I (and now Eleanor) like books. And we have a lot of them. A lot. Many are well loved, and have been read numerous times, but all of them ultimately wind up end-to-end on a book shelf rarely to be seen again. That’s why I love this idea from Jessica Reed, a Brooklyn based artist: she gives you reason to bring those books, especially your favorite, most cherished stories, off the shelf and into the spotlight. (They would make an especially wonderful gift for the book-lover in your life, but you better hurry because supplies are going fast.)
You can find her Etsy store here, and details on her process (and other works) here.
